Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between WakeWatch and WakeWatch Pro?
WakeWatch Pro has a 1" OLED screen that allows you to adjust the set speed in 1mph increments. It also gives you data like number of satellites and current speed. WakeWatch only provides two different set speeds and no additional data.
Both systems have the LED status bar.
What are the dimensions of WakeWatch?
WakeWatch is 29" tall, 5.5" wide, and 6.5" deep. When the flag is extended, the unit is 42" tall. The flag is 12x12".
What materials is WakeWatch made from?
WakeWatch is primarily made from 3D printed parts with stainless steel hardware. 3D printing manufacturing process allow for this product to be provided at an affordable price without compromising quality.
Does WakeWatch take the place of a spotter?
Unfortunately, WakeWatch does not remove the need for a spotter if local laws require one. WakeWatch only reacts if the boat slows down so its important for the spotter and captain to keep situational awareness.
Why should you get WakeWatch and not just fly the skier down flag the entire time your towing?
Flying the skier down flag the entire time when towing a rider creates "alarm fatigue" to other boats in the area. Other boats in the area will not know if someone is in the water or if you're just towing. In some states, its against the law to have the flag up when actively towing as well.
