Simple One Button Operation
- Connect WakeWatch to a 12V outlet on your boat.
- Press the main button to power on WakeWatch. The system will go through its homing process.
- Wait for the LED bar to turn blue to indicate valid GPS speed data.
- Press the control button to activate GPS flag control.
- Enjoy the ride! When a rider falls and the boat slows down, the flag will automatically go up.

Booting Up
The system is in the process of starting and initializing.
Solid Red
Standby Mode (No GPS Lock)
The system is idle and awaiting GPS signal acquisition.
Solid Blue
Standby Mode (GPS Lock Acquired)
GPS signal confirmed, but the system is in standby.
Flashing Red
GPS Mode (No GPS Lock)
Searching for GPS. Flag stays down until lock is established.
Oscillating Orange
GPS Mode (Speed Below Threshold)
Boat speed is too low for flag deployment. Flag is up.
Pulsing Green
GPS Mode (Speed Above Threshold)
Speed is above threshold. Flag is down.
Flashing Purple (Standard Model)
Speed Adjustment Mode
Adjust speed:
- Half Bar: Low speed
- Full Bar: High speed
Purple Fill (Pro Model)
Speed Adjustment Mode
Speed threshold increases as the bar fills. Adjust as needed.
Strobing White
Powering Down
The system is shutting down. It will turn off when the flag is fully retracted.
One Button Navigation
Power on - Single button press
Standby mode - Single button press
GPS mode - Single button press
Speed Adjust Mode - Hold button down for 3 seconds and release to enter mode, single button press to change speed, hold button to exit
Manual flag deploy - Double button press, single press to exit
Power down - Hold button down for at least 5 seconds and release.
